Paula holds a BFA in Ballet from Texas Christian University, and a MFA in Ballet from The University of Oklahoma. Before settling in Austin, she taught in Houston and more recently in Tyler, Texas where she served on the dance faculty of Tyler Junior College as Director of the Tyler Junior College Academy of Dance. As well as Director and Choreographer for their annual production of the “Nutcracker,” for nine years. She also served as Artistic director of the Tyler Civic Ballet, whose repertoire includes original and classical works. In Austin she has taught at several studios , Austin Community College and Austin Conservatory for the Arts. There she served as Co-Director of Conservatory Dance Theatre, and its annual production of the “Nutcracker.”
